This is taking longer than i expected.
Many dilemmas, such as what to unplug first - the CD player or the TV?
Plus estate agents keep bringing people round to view the flat. Grrr!
so i added a photo upload script to ftp multiple files and then add descriptions and tags.
Which is great but now need to build another script to allow browsing of all photos or by tags, and return photos in search results.
Also want an easy way of putting the filenames into these main blog posts.
Need some sort of popup window to select pics when on this compose page.
Also the list of previously used tags needs to be visible.
Also need to be able to edit all photo tags, not just at the time of adding.
Also allow further comments on photos? Could do that.

i want to add embedded music / video.
I'm sure sites like last.fm and youtube give you those options though surely?
Well lastfm don't let you embed stuff. Which is a shame because they have a great site and catalog, including free mp3 for some bands, such as:
http://www.last.fm/music/Neon+Night+Riders
YOUTUBE lets you embed though, lets see if the settings ive set allow this:
Holy smokes it works. i'll just tweak the size of that...

today i watched "the social network", and then read some articles about web 2.0.
Then i started browsing tumblr, and it restored a little faith in the net in the aftermath of geocities etc being stolen from us. People putting up bizarre and niche pages about wierd stuff they're interested in. How did geocities fail / why was it killed anyway? it was already web 2.0 in terms of user created content, it just needed some sharing features. Anyway, i'm liking the flexibility of tumblr. I'm going to steal things from it, like this:
